Kaelene Masters is a highly experienced Rehabilitation Counsellor with over 15 years of clinical practice and a Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counselling. She has worked extensively across Australia and the UK, supporting individuals with disability, injury, or illness to overcome barriers and build more independent, fulfilling lives. Her person-centred approach is grounded in compassion, inclusion, and a deep understanding of diverse physical, cognitive, and psychosocial challenges.
Kaelene specialises in vocational rehabilitation, helping clients prepare for and maintain meaningful employment. She draws on evidence-based therapies, including cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused approaches, to support adjustment, resilience, and personal growth. With strong expertise in case management and cross-sector collaboration, Kaelene is dedicated to delivering coordinated, holistic care that empowers clients to thrive.
Kaelene now leads our new Therapeutic Services division, offering tailored support across four key areas - vocational counselling and career guidance to assist with return-to-work planning - mental health support to enhance emotional well-being during recovery - rehabilitation counselling for those managing injury or chronic illness and - reintegration support for individuals on parole, including alcohol and drug counselling. With a focus on individualised care, these services are available in Bathurst and online, ensuring flexible access and personalised strategies to help every client achieve their goals.
